ABCD Driving School is proud to offer NDIS approved Specialised Driver Training to help people with a disability learn to drive.
For most people, learning to drive is a key step to an independent life. Improved daily living skills, including Specialised Driver Training, is funded under the NDIS.
We have many vehicle modification options to assist people with a wide range of abilities, including:

Satellite Accelerator – an accelerator system that allows two-handed driving

Combined Brake & Accelerator – a multi-purpose system that gives a driver control over the accelerator, brake, horn, lights and indicators

Left Foot Accelerator

Spinner Knob – we have standard

These vehicle modification options can be mixed and matched to best meet your needs.
ABCD DRIVING SCHOOL also works closely with an occupational therapist who specialises in driving and driving assessments.
These tools and resources, combined with our friendly and patient teaching approach, provides an ideal learning environment. We will work with you to develop a customised solution to help you reach your goals.

Today I passed my driving test and I really have to credit Anita, my instructor who definitely taught me to be a better driver. Having learnt some basics from another instructor but failed the driving test prior, my confidence was shaken but Anita was great at encouraging me that the ultimate goal was becoming a better driver and not just passing a test. I was always impressed with her wealth of knowledge and how he could explain and answer my queries and concerns. She taught me better techniques which I am grateful for as it has made a huge difference to my driving experience. Anita is a great individual who created a relaxed and well informed environment for learning how to drive smoothly and confidently. Working as a driving instructor is a rather difficult job and it needs a lot of concentration. It also requires a person to have a peace of mind, all the time. One of the big benefits of working in ABCD Driving School is that I always feel that I’m part of a big family and everybody here supports each other. Not only does this feeling contribute well to why I give my job 100% concentration and effort but it also provides everybody with the peace of mind needed for carrying out driving lessons with a high quality.

I loved the way how a balance of compliance to RTA rules and yet enjoyable road driving is taught at ABCD Driving School. The best part is the friendliness i encountered with the instructor and the demo tests that provided enough confidence to go to the real RTA test which most of us fear to succeed. Anita was an amazing driving instructor, I'm not a quick learner but she was very patient and helped me learn everything i needed to know to successfully get my license. She made me feel very comfortable when we were driving so i wasn't stressed out, and when i made mistakes she reacted appropriately and explained what i did wrong so that i wouldn't make the same mistake again. Anita Sharma - Thanks you so much. Got the driving licence in 1st go after taking only 3 classes from you. Helped me to unlearn the bad driving habits from India and taught me all the basics about driving in Australia. She is the most badass instructor and has mastered Black town routes and can help you to get your license in first go if you listen to her....its good to have tough instructor as the test taking officer won't point out your mistakes.... 100% 1st go- how do i even begin about my instructor Anita Sharma..she is the person who never gives up.She will put in efforts until you reach perfection.She made me so perfect with her techniques that achieving 100% did not seem impossible.She kept correcting and motivating me till last minute..A perfect and strong trainer as well as super person..she transformed me into a confident driver.

5 stars Anita Sharma was the best driving instructor I’ve had by far. Her lessons provided me with easy to learn and remember tips to help me be a better driver and improve my chances of passing the test. She gets straight to the point and tells you what you need to know and how you can fix any mistakes. I would highly recommend Anita to anyone at any stage looking for guidance on how to drive.

My instructor anita is a legend, she has amazing patience and makes everything seem so clear simple and straight forward that then when you go for your test you feel confident.
